Cousin Robyn’s Wedding

My cousin Robyn got married on the weekend.  We had some spare time between the ceremony and supper so a couple of my cousin’s and I went to the go-carts at Thunder Rapids.  So much fun.

Here is a photo of my parents.  The only people slow dancing on the dancefloor.  They give me hope for the future.

My Rogers Bill = $15,000?

I missed a phone call from Rogers yesterday. The voicemail said that I needed to call them about some unusual usage on my account.

When I got my new iPhone I signed up for the $30/month, 6GB data package. I called them back and found that the data package had not actually been applied to my account.

I had used around 450 Mb of data which translated to around $15,000 in charges. I actually started laughing out loud when Sheryl (the surprisingly very nice lady I was talking to) told me that.

I told her what package I was supposed to have and she fixed everything right away.

Although it was kind of interesting to note that the number I phoned back to was Rogers Executive Services and that I got a real person after pressing one key. On the regular Rogers service line you get a computer for the first three minutes and then put on hold for the next seven. It pays to be an executive.

Yay or Nay – J. Shoes

$99 at Winners. For now I’m nay but there is something I like about them…

Sleepless

Remember that short film I was in a while back?  Didn’t see it?  Now’s your chance.

Then watch the Making of Sleepless.  It’s longer than the movie.

Film – Summer 2008

I don’t really take that many photos anymore.  My theory is that I’m trying to focus more on enjoying the moment rather than capturing the moment.

But I still take some pictures.  These were taken with my hipster-film-camera-I-got-from-my-grandparents-basement:

This is Josh. We were missionaries together in Africa. But this is at my family’s secret river in Brandon.

We went to Fun Mountain. 50% misnamed.

I started working at Stella’s on Osbourne. With Zoe here.

Amy and my cousin Derek started dating.

Gramma. (In the background: Grandpa)

The very sharp Krahn family after church.

Paparazzi shot of Madge Kroeker having breakfast.

Rabbi Budyk ready for a bike ride.

Science and Math. Keeping warm.

Dad’s Boots

My father got these sweet Ostrich skin boots in Mexico. Rad.
